Lately, while exploring I came across something interesting and wasn’t able to find any inofmations about this topic.

In Yalahar, in the Mage Quarter (Residential Area) there’s a room with a pillory in it.

There are two statues and together they finish one sentence:
“Kneel down… or feel the wrath of the mighty Iberon!”

Now who is Iberon? This place got me curious because I found similar room in Orc Fortress on Zao:

Could this be that Iberon was actually a prisoner there that somehow managed to escape?
Anyways, the only clue I managed to find was another statue in Mage Quarter, though it’s on an elevated pedestal and we can’t read what’s written on it.

Could this be that Iberon is simply misspelled Oberon? There’s actually nothing that connects Oberon to Yalahar.
So who is, or was Iberon?

Hah. Was doing research about this when TibiaSecrets announced their first contest about Tibia mysteries. Unfortunately, there was no much progress with subject so never wrote anything about it;-) Since I was sitting on this subject several months already, I will just write what I know so far. On the beginning I was hoping that this is discovery of the "new boss" or so. I was considering a new boss, as same sign can be found in few places- Falcon bastion with Jailer boss (prison room), or POI in the torture rooms and Throne room of Tafariel.

But then, this made me think that this sign is more for "torturing masters" and torture rooms. But then...

Have we all seen circle with altar for summoning or sacrifices in Magician Quarter? Yes we had! We clearly can see that the energy has made in the floors cracks (something very powerful was happening over there).

What is mind blowing- The Throne is exactly under the altar, one floor below! https://tibiamaps.io/map#32923,31093,6:2

If you go one floor below you will end up in "yellow wing" which has broken lamp with a note about fixing it;-) I will not mention Orshabaal's brain protected with Energy field! (We can deduct from that, they managed to summon Orshabaal already). Considering that Magician Quarter has Enlighten of the Cult 3(who are devoted to Triangle) in their section as also huge energy towers, I was hoping for possibility of Zolaruk being related somehow to it (triggering of the spawn above the Throne?).

Why would in "blue wing" appear torturing sign, though? Well. Blue wing is filled with Mad Scientist who really like testing and experiments... and I would say around 98% of magical experiments involving human will be something related to torture (specially if Mad scientist say's Die in the name of Science! Let me test this!);-) In the rooms you will also find corpses, which is a flavour to the lore of Mad Scientist speach: I will study your corpse!

Interesting for people who are into theory of skull matrix: I believed that the skulls in the room on the north are playing part in spawning of the boss. In the wardrobes, in each drawer you can find different amounts of the skulls as also 2 dead corpses.

There is also Empty Coal Basin (similar to the one on top of Dark Pyramid) next to the drawers- tried several items (basics: fire bug, scarab coins or even skulls)

Also:

Iberon is the anagram of "IN ROBE".

Which would make since, since Sorcerers & Wizards are in robes and on the end statues are same as Sorcerer statue4.  ;-)

Happy to hear that you found something interesting in my little research. Forgot to mention about Empty Coal Basin in the North room. Something which is worth to check as well ;-) Maybe someone will move this subject bit further...
