Hello! I decided to prepare a text for this question in a way it deserves to be answered. This item was conceived and created by me (Brighid Grand Explorateur) and is based on a fan lore also created by me and which serves as the basis for the history of the fansite TibiaLight.
Introduction: The Gods' Twilight Doll is in reality a souvenir granted by the Lightbearers' society, it was forged and created in the Temple of Light complex, one of the phrases emitted by the item matches this. Its inspiration lies in the two main characters of the first story in the TibiaLight Fan Lore called The Gods' War: Valiant and Ragna. This story takes place after Variphor's followers steal operating instructions from the Godbreaker in the Secret Library. The Inquisition, upon receiving the information directly from Fardos goes into action and searches for the warriors who were able to defeat the mighty Scourge of Oblivion. The entire story is told in 9 chapters (the tenth and final chapter brings you back to the present time and shows that in reality the story was being told by Lucius, the representative of the Lightbearers).
This story happens in different places and connects to the incredible lore of Tibia, some places are part of Tibia and some are our creation. You can find in the story some places like: Zathroth's Secret Library, Roshamuul Cisterns, Yalahari Alchemist Quarter and Azerus' main room, Shaper Citadel, Nuur, Hellgate, Rookgaard, Kharos, Eclipse witch's camp and Temple of Light. Some other places are our creation on this story, but is inspired on Tibian Lore: Fardos' Library, Fortress of the Order of the End, Necropolis (the main city of Bonelords), Variphor's Dimension, Variphor Follower's Hideout.
If you want to read this FanLore, I will leave here those links to the Portuguese and English versions.
Curiosities about The Gods' Twilight Doll:
- This is the heaviest fansite item to date.
- Also about the weight, the value of 253.21 oz makes reference to the fansite's founding date: March 25, 2021.
- In its first year of debut in the Fansite Lottery it got the first place of votes.
- The animation of Valiant and Ragna's version is inspired by a moment/scene from the FanLore at the end of chapter 6.
- The process of designing the item took over 12 months.
- The 8 characters in the fanlore created around this item are: Valiant, Aerodus, Riberus, Iris, Petros, Hera, Olga, and Ragna. The initial letter of all the names form the word Variphor, with Valiant representing the beginning (Fardos) and Ragna the end (Variphor himself), for the story and for the significance of the characters and the item this information has relevance.
- The golden hand in the transition is the official symbol of Fardos in Tibia lore, the dark hand represents Variphor, and the vortex in its center is inspired by the way to access the interdimensional environment of the Heart of Destruction.
- Valiant's armor appears to be gold, but according to lore it is a bonelord magic set that transmits to the beholder the strength of the wearer's soul, the brighter it is, the kinder the wearer is equipped with it.
