Does this flimsy teleporter lead anywhere?

In the Thaian mine there is a room in the middle on the bottom floor that is strange.
It has the white outline and wall marking just like the Venore and Port Hope flimsy entrance (with the burial shroud):

I've never seen it mentioned anywhere and don't know of any way to activate it.
Does it have a known use?

It has no known use as of now. It is very possible that it could be added into the game at a later date, when new quests are added and story lines expanded. It's a good spot to run to if you get overwhelmed by monsters though :)
