What is Sliver and how can i get it?

The Sliver item was added in the last update 12.80. I am curious how I can get it and what is it for? Can we use this item for decoration?

Slivers are items that you can convert on Exalted Cores, to use on Exaltation Forge.
There is 2 ways of getting Slivers, by killing Fiended Creatures and by converting 60 dust into 3 Slivers on Exaltation Forge.

You can find Fiended Monsters using the spell Find Fiend, which will show you the nearest Fiended Monsters, and its difficult as well, if you have this creature unlocked on bestiary.

I am wondering, if we put it in house, will it disappear after some time like for example heavy crystals from Warzones 4-6?

I guess not, CipSoft didn't mention anything about it on the update. Also, you can sell Slivers so I don't think they can disappear
