What are all the creatures which will not trigger fighting mode when they appear on my screen?

Question

Usually when the monsters and creatures appear on our screen it will automatically activate fighting mode. However, there are some creatures which this will not happen, until we attack them- as an example: cat. What other creatures will not activate fighting mode until we attack them?
