Is it legal to use a VPN for Tibia?

I know a proxy is different than a VPN so I was wondering if it's legal to play Tibia using a VPN? The reason I ask is I plan to travel soon and want to use a VPN at the hotel, but I'm wondering if I'll get deleted or if it's considered against the Tibia rules. I couldn't find an answer to this on Tibia's website under Tibia Rules or FAQ

I removed the flag on this as the questions seem different to me. This one is asking the legality of using a VPN not if it is possible as the other question was.

I did a quick check and couldn't find anything official on the topic but I honestly don't see why VPN services wouldn't be legal in Tibia.

Additionally many players have been using VPN for years and don't remember anyone ever claiming getting banned for this reason.
