Are Terrified Elephants a blockable respawn?

Will Terrified Elephants still spawn if you are standing in the area or will they be blocked?

I'll answer based on my own experience.

When I was doing my bestiary entry on Terrified Elephants I had an opportunity to check it because another player came to disturb me. I noticed that it is possible to block the respawn by standing there, however the whole area is too wide, to block it alone. I asked for help from a few friends and completely blocked the respawn, preventing a malicious player from hunting.

According to Terrified Elephant (Wiki Br), yes its possible block the respawn of this creature.
