What do the numbers inside brackets on the mana bar mean?

I see that besides mana points there are some numbers in brackets (0/0). What do they represent?

These numbers represent your current mana shield. How much mana you have left for blocking attacks and what it started as. If you were to cast mana shield and gain 1000 shield it would read (1000/1000). If you were to then take 100 damage it would read (900/1000).
