Do summons block monster respawns?

If you were to summon a creature (using utevo res, animate dead rune, or convince creature rune) and trap the summon. Will it block the spawn of creatures that can be blocked by a player standing by them?

No, a summon does not block the spawn of creatures that can be blocked by a player. This is useful information to know in certain places. I used it while doing Deepling Master Librarian bestiary. Here's the proof:

The spawn spot of Deepling Master Librarian is marked with Flaming Arrows. In this picture I'm blocking his spawn.

Then I summoned a Demon Skeleton and moved him to the same SQM I was before.

Soon after (I did this during Rapid Respawn), a Deepling Master Librarian spawned and attacked my summon.
