Is it possible to die swimming in Tibia? Is it possible to recover your items? is the body submerged?

Sacrifices has been made.

There is only one way of dying whilst being in the water/swimming and that is unsuccessful forging the ring of ending.

In a situation where you did not have blessings or an AOL you will not be able to retrieve any items from the body as it drowns straight away.


With regards to the A Pirate's Tale Quest - Hidden Treasure mission with sniff you will not be able to die due to the quest protection mechanic. Your HP will stop at 4HP as level 32 "May change depending on level" And you'll not recieve any more damage. Another screenshot below.
Tested any negative conditions, Including pvp situation with runes. "Soulfire/bombs etc" All conditions were cured once I entered the water.
You cannot use claw of noxious spawn as it does not work in pz, water is considered pz.

When you die by a Ring of Ending it shows that you died by yourself.

In fact, there is another way you can die while swimming, but the results of such death are the same as the ones mentioned in this answer, i.e the corpse (and its content) is deleted because is is created on a water field.

Hello!

First IDK if before you could die by swimming but so far I tried some things and my char didnt die:

• Fireworks

I used  fireworks rocket on backpack and nothing happens: 

And the others fireworks availables you can't even put it on the water so there is no way to die by any kind of fireworks.

• Negative conditions:  I tried by stay poisoned/burning and but it doesn't works, once you enter into the water all conditions cancel (Fun fact).

• claw of 'The Noxious Spawn': My last try was using the claw of 'The Noxious Spawn' but on PZ you dont get any hit (it apparently only hurts yourself went you use outside PZ.

However I believe there is two way to die swimming:

• During the quest "A pirate's Tail - Hidden Treasure" the shark part (but I didn't test it yet, I will test out tomorrow and update my answer).
• By trying to make the Ring of Ending. (This is just a consideration, and tbh I don't have the items to test it out)

I tried to poison myself while in water but it doesn't work past 10 hit points. So also fun fact, you cannot poison yourself to death anymore.

You can drink slime while being in the water and can poison yourself that way without it being cured. But when you reach 10 hitpoints it won't poison you anymore :) Try it.
