What is the monster known as the Strange Rat?

Question

Recently I saw a YT video and in it was a monster known as the Strange Rat. The English Wiki has no info about it other than loot statistics and was wondering what you can tell me about it?

They are monster that appear as a curse on cobra bastion if you invade the treasure room they give no loot and they only get in your way if you are not careful they can make you a trap because cobras will push them but you wont

this is the animation they do when they disappear and the loot they give

They behave as a normal rat have the same hitpoints and disappear after few second give me few minutes and will update with and image of them going away

How a curse? What does that curse means ? I never saw that before :o

its said by the wiki that you can take this curse away but doesnt really show how
" if you toss a Gold Coin, Platinum Coin or Crystal Coin on the floor of the balcony, here, several Light Effects will be displayed, as well as this message: You made it whole again... the curse is lifted."
 It only happends if you enter the treasure room that is in the same floor as gaffir and where you obtain key 0303 that opens some doors of cobra bastion

You remove the curse by tossing gold on the floor, as if you were giving back the gold you may have stolen. That's what the message and the light effects are about.

That's all you have to do. Go to the balcony and throw a gold coin on the floor, any tile. A message will appear along with light effects.

but inside the treasure room? because it tells something like throwing it from outside, i did it it made some light effects but recieve no message and still had the curse
