Is Excalibug still a big part of the game?

I haven't gone far into the new areas of the game as I just returned and still only barely over level 100.  When I was really into the game back in the day I spent a good amount of time asking the majority of the NPC's about Excalibug.  Did they continue this trend into the new areas or did they let the mystery die?

There are not a lot of mysteries that are still a mystery like serpentine tower. People have focused on making money, getting more skills, achievements, and level so there are really few people trying to solve mysteries but seems like solving these mysteries are not really important to the top and average players which is really sad.

It’s quite sad that mysteries have died out, guess it’s all about levels and gear like any MMO now.
