How count kill works when you're hunting with party while doing a task?

For example, if I'm doing the 6666 demon task with another player in a party, all demons we kill will count to me or only the ones I deal most damage?

i know for sure because i have test it in order to do the demon tasks you need to win the monster no matter if you are in a party sharing exp, if you dont win the monster doesnt count
But for bestiary you only need to attack the monster dont even need to be in party with another person you could be doing ks on a person and still will be doing bestiary but for tasks you have to win the creature

CIP changed this in the winter update in 2017. All players in a party will get kill credit for these tasks as long as they have damaged the creature and shared experience is enabled.
