What happens to monsters that spawn at WZ1 entrance?

After a team enters WZ1 without killing the monsters that spawn there (Hideous Fungus and Humongous Fungus), what happens to those monsters? Do they disappear? If yes, after what time or at what moment?

As I remember it work like the "Minion of Vesperoth, so when the portal is open they get some seconds after disappear.

To give more details: I noticed that when the portal opens, just couple of the monsters disappear. It looks like each wave vanishes after set time from the moment it spawned, so also "in waves".
