Which depot box corresponds to which city?

Question

We have 18  in Tibia. I wonder which boxes is from which city. I know that   is assigned to the city of Thais. How is with the rest?

16: Roshamuul --> XVI

17: Rathleton --> XVII

18: Issavi --> XVIII (came out in Summer update 2019 which is when the town Issavi was created)

Does it serve any purpose? I mean if i put items in dp carlin then i can use them somewhere in Carlin?

No, you can access items from all boxes in all cities. Historically that wasn't possible and when they made it possible, the depot items from each city were moved to the shared container with assigned number. E.g. all items from Thais depo were moved to box 1
