What I need to enter the Mad Mage dungeon?

Question

I tried to eat the fungus today but I wasn't allowed to enter the dungeon, what do I need to do? I talked to NPC and got slime gobbler, what else is necessary?

Most Important: First make sure the Their Master's Voice World Change is active by talking to the town Guides ( location of all guides - thank you Zupakode ) by the ships in most towns

Second Most Important: Be sure someone/team is not currently doing it

For the Mad Mage from Their Master's Voice World Change you need to talk to the NPC  and take the slime gobbler  from it. Then proceed down two floors to the main floor and use the Slime gobbler on the Slime fungus  (they all look a little different) which you can do once every 5 seconds. Either you or your team need to 'gobble' all 350 slime, with everyone needing to have 'gobbled' at least 25 to participate in next stage of this World Change.

Then the Iron, Golden (best loot, hope to have a Golden can of oil drop) and Diamond Servant's will appear. Ive only done this solo and the numbers listed on the wiki sound about right (roughly) of about 250 Iron, 200 Golden and 60 Diamond (Hope to loot a . Be careful if you're a lower level soloing because they can surround you in large numbers easily. They come in waves so you need to clear them all and then they will respawn, so think about where you are when you kill the last one so you dont get a big spawn on top of you.

When you've killed all the Servants, the Mad Mage will spawn in one of these locations

Kill him and take his loot and the Fungus respawns

Your answer is definitely more in depth than mine. You may want to mention about being able to leave and come back and still enter as long as you have cleaned 25 fungi. It would be disrespectful to do it to steal someone's mage but it is possible and someone may do it to you.

Hey!! Keep in mind that once you clean all the fungus and the servants appears you can't go out because the floor will reset... I tell you by my own experience... I cleanead all, I was around the 14th raid and I went out to resupply my char and the floor just reset....

There is nothing special to be done to gain access to the dungeon typically. To be able to enter as the world change is in progress requires you to clean at least 25 fungi from the floor which is what I assumed was preventing you from entering. What this means is that if you only are able to clean 20 fungi and someone else cleans that last piece you will be kicked from the spawn until the raid is over. If you do manage to clear 25 fungi and decide to leave. You can come back later (days, weeks, months, etc) and jump into the middle of someone else's raid.
