Can default carpets be replaced?

Hello!

I know that there is some carpets like: Blue Carpet, Red Carpet and Green Carpet at some houses that can be hidden, but I wonder if is possible to replace them with void, rift carpet or even carpets from store like the  marble one?

Recently this wasn't possible. That's reason why people try hid it by different items. Now you can go cover this carpet by other carpets (from the store and from the market)
