What are blue crystal splinters used for?

I see in the market lots of sellers selling blue crystal splinters are way above NPC buy price, but the wiki doesn't mention them being used for imbuing. Do they have another use?

Yes, this item isn't need for imbuing or quest, so there are several explanations for this price:

- someone did a prank

- someone preys on the naivety of people

- in your world there is not much of this item because fewer people play, and it is a nice decorative element so maybe that's why its price has increased.

This item is lassified as "Valuable" so will not be used for imbuement since only creature products are used for it. Now about the price above the NPC price probably is just someone trying to make money, at my server you can find a lot of itens at this situation where ppl are selling it for a price higher the the NPC price. Tynusiiaa also listed good reason for that.

Ive seen this happen with various items, but thats usually one person. This seems like a multiple people effort. Thanks for your take on it.

To add what everyone else wrote- They don't have another use as far as I'm aware the rest have mentioned them all. A little tip is I'd check to see if they were even sold or if someone originally started them off at that price. I don't think their worth more than 400 and there's other decoration.
