Is it possible to cancel marriage automatically?

I was checking my friend on Tibia.com and he was married to another character. But the problem is that when I tried check this account i got an information that this character doesn't exist.

My questions are:

• Is it possible to cancel marriage automatically?
• If it's possible then after what time this will happen?

According to Tibia.com the only way to get divorced is this:

How to get divorced:

You can divorce your partner, even if he or she does not agree.

• All you have to do is visit Lugri in Thais, or Brewster in Port Hope.
   
• For mere 10,000 gold pieces Lugri will make you a free man or woman again.
  Brewster only charges 5,000 gold pieces.
• Your broken marriage will be symbolised by your broken wedding ring.

The marriage does not end once one of the characters is deleted. You can however still divorce the deleted character.
