First of all, the bonus will only be granted if all members of the party fulfill the requirements of the shared experience mode. This will be indicated by the symbols appearing next to the character names:  or

If the shared experience is enabled and active (as indicated by the icons above) the shared experience bonus depends on the number of different vocations that the party contains:

  • 1 vocation - 20% bonus experience
  • 2 vocations - 40% bonus experience
  • 3 vocations - 60% bonus experience
  • 4 vocations - 100% bonus experience

Example 1
A knight and a druid (2 distinct vocations) in a party with shared experience are hunting Dragons (700 base experience). Since 2 vocations are involved a 40% bonus experience is applied. 700exp * 1.4 = 980exp. This experience is shared evenly between the two players, which means each of them receives 490 base experience. Since then any additional bonus (like premium stamina or exp boost from the Store) is applied individually for each player.

Example 2
A knight, two druids and two sorcerers (5 players, but only 3 distinct vocations) in a party with shared experience are hunting Eternal Guardians (1800 base experience). Since 3 vocations are involved a 60% bonus experience is applied. 1800exp * 1.6 = 2880exp. This experience is shared evenly between the five players, which means each of them receives 576 base experience (2880 / 5 = 576). Since then any additional bonus (like premium stamina or exp boost from the Store) is applied individually for each player.

Example 3
A knight, druid, sorcerer and paladin (4 players and 4 distinct vocations) in a party with shared experience are hunting Demons (6000 base experience). Since 4 vocations are involved a 100% bonus experience is applied. 6000exp * 2 = 12000exp. This experience is shared evenly between the four players, which means each of them receives 3000 base experience (12000 / 4 = 3000). Since then any additional bonus (like premium stamina or exp boost from the Store) is applied individually for each player.
