How can I repair my Devourer Core?

During my house-decorating session I accidentally clicked on my Devourer Core. I loved the green light, and now it's burnt out, also very pretty, but I would prefer the green variant.

Is there any way to repair it?

If you use a  and turn into a  unfortunately it will remain in this second version. There is no way to repair it.

Upon using this item, your cooldown for entering World Devourer chamber will be reset allowing you to face the boss one more time without having to wait any longer. Additionally, it will become a Burnt Out Devourer Core . 

Notes :

After using a Devourer Core, it will become a Burnt Out Devourer Core.

Where is the source that tell you it can't went back to a Devourer Core?

I have Burnt Out Devourer Core at my house for a year, I used it once and has not changed since then :)

I always though that item was to remove the CD to defeat World Devourer, and after you cooldown over, it were back into a Devourer Core version. U try to use it without have cd to enter boss?
