I wanted to use capacity imbuements but I was afraid of what would happen if they expired while I was at full capacity. Also, what happens if you are at full capacity and you lose your current level because your character dies?

For example: say my capacity is 1000 oz, and I use a Basic Featherweight imbuement which would then increase my total capacity at 1030 oz while having the imbued backpack equipped. Say I am using all the capacity of my character (1030oz) and the imbuement runs out.

So the question is: What would happen in that situation? Would my character be stuck in the tile and not be able to move? Would I move slower?

NOTE: I think a long time ago it was possible to exceed the maximum capacity and the character was slower and slower depending on the excess, but I'm not sure if this was the case though. I don't know how it works now because you cannot pick items up if that would exceed the maximum capacity.

You should add "what happens when you die or run out of your backpack imbuement with full capacity?" I wanted to post this question but your question is so similar so I didn't want to do a duplicate. Someone already answered it in the answers :)

Haha your comment made me think of a different game entirely! But the answer is no, your character would not stop all of a sudden cus you have no cap. Your capacity will be negative, but it will display as 0 and you can obviously not pickup any other items until you have deposited / dropped enough items to turn your cap positive again :)

(It would be hilarious though if your character did get stuck all of a sudden while hunting hahahaha)

Haha well it is a relief to know that. I might then give this imbuement a try!

Awww you are so cute in your questions

No, you Will be able to move normally.

What will happen is that you won't be able to pick up anything else. When you travel with money of your backpack you will probably drop some gps in the floor behind you. And when you pot yourself the empty vials will drop in the floor.

DO NOT put anything on the floor, you won't be able to pick them back

To have positive capacity again you will have to sell/deposit enough items, the equivalents to the extra capacity that the imbuement gave to you

Your character just gonna have a negative capacity (-X) with it you cant take more items on your backpack or set, your character gonna keep moving in normal speed.

I tested it, dying (Loss level) with full capacity and just need take away of some items to have a normal capacity.

It's good to know that you can still move at normal speed, thanks for the info! It's interesting the fact you mentioned that you exceeded the capacity at dying and you just needed to take some items away. Sorry to hear about your character's death though, hope you took your lvl back.
